The Kent 'Local Offer' is also known as the SEND information hub.

Here you'll be able to find information and support services for families in their district. Although some services that each Local Authority offer may vary, the following must be maintained by every Local Authority:

​

• an online local offer, ensuring alternative versions are available to children.

• ensuring children, young people and families are told about the Local Offer.

• discussions with children and families as to what support they're looking for.

• actively look for services and activities in the local area to support children from age birth to 25.

• seek services to support young people into an independent adulthood.

• share whether there are transport services available and find out whether there is any charge.
